The Brightwell 900 Double Sided is a powerful 9 kW Ecodesign stove designed specifically for open-plan living and installations where a fireplace divides two rooms. Its double-sided configuration allows both spaces to benefit from the heat and enjoy an uninterrupted view of the fire, creating a dramatic architectural centrepiece.
Modern, unfussy lines are combined with twin cast iron doors and generous viewing areas on both sides. The substantial firebox accommodates logs up to 400 mm in length, while the double-sided design allows fuel to be loaded from either side for convenient operation.
The stove’s heavy-duty construction includes a 5 mm steel body, 12 mm steel top plate and robust cast iron doors. A convector top plate helps distribute heat effectively, while simple push-pull air controls beneath each door provide independent control of the primary and secondary air supply. This also helps maintain clean glass on both sides of the stove.
With a nominal output of 9 kW and a generous 4–12 kW operating range, the Brightwell 900 Double Sided is designed to provide substantial warmth across larger open-plan spaces. It achieves 79% efficiency and carries an A energy efficiency rating.
For additional height and presence, optional 200 mm or 300 mm logstores can be fitted beneath the stove. A separate Fresh Air adaptor is also available where an external air supply is required, making the Brightwell 900 particularly suitable for modern airtight properties.
