Woodburning Stoves

Jøtul F400 ECO

Powerful cast iron heating, generous firebox capacity and classic Norwegian character

The Jøtul F400 ECO is one of Jøtul’s largest cast iron wood-burning stoves, combining substantial heating capability with the enduring character of traditional Norwegian design. With space for logs up to 50 cm long, it offers an impressive firebox capacity for larger fires and extended periods of warmth.

The large glass door provides an excellent view of the burning logs, framed by a distinctive pattern inspired by part of the Norwegian coastline. This characteristic detail gives the stove a strong sense of heritage while adding visual interest to its classic cast iron form.

A large external ash removal solution makes emptying the ashes convenient and straightforward. The integrated ash lip also helps catch ash and sparks that may accidentally fall from the combustion chamber, keeping the area around the stove cleaner.

Finished in black paint, the Jøtul F400 ECO combines robust cast iron construction, generous capacity and unmistakable Norwegian character, making it a powerful and distinctive choice for traditional and contemporary homes alike.
